Daily DeviationGiven 2009-06-11biblical series cont. by ~bethepart is an elegant woodcut with dramatic colors and composition. The directional cuts flow through the figure that appears to emerge from the bottom of the image, while the ample negative space at the top enhance the drama of the upturned gaze. The golden glow from below is finely counterpointed by sharper, white highlights in this religiously-inspired print... we'll definitely look forward to more Traditional works from this deviant! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
